Leadership & Governance

38,149 people were reached through Kizazi Amani, Miss Koch Kenya’s peace leadership campaign. Some of that same advocacy work has already shaped national policy.

From community voice to policy desk.

Community voice that never reaches a policy desk stays community voice. Our leadership work closes that gap, from a peace campaign that reached 38,149 people to policy memos on the Finance Bills placed before the National Assembly.

Our Commitment

To raise young people’s awareness of, and participation in, leadership and governance — so that decisions affecting Korogocho are not made without them.

To build the capability of young people in Korogocho to demand, protect, and preserve their human rights.

To work toward human security for all in the informal settlement, treating safety, rights, and a say in local decisions as one commitment rather than three separate ones.

To keep taking community voice to where decisions are made, as the Nairobi County ASRH Framework and the National Assembly Finance Bill memos (2024 and 2025) have done.
